Albi

Garden of the Palais de la Berbie.

Albi  is situated in the Tarn department, on the river Tarn in the Occitanie region.

 

It is the seat of the Archbishop of Albi.

 

Albi was built around the original cathedral and episcopal group of buildings. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By train is 6h30 from Paris with 1 changes in Toulouse. 

From the trainstation is 10 minutes walking distance to the centre.

Palais de la Berbie is a castle belonging to the bishops of Albi, built in 1228 and 1308.
