Church of Saint Germain des Pres

The Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés  is a church located in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter of Paris.

 

The closest metro station is Saint Germain des Pres, metro 4.

 

It was originally the church of a Benedictine abbey founded in 558.

 

The abbey was destroyed rebuilt, and renamed in the 8th century for Saint Germain.
