Poissy

The Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame. 

Poissy  is located in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region.

 

From Paris center the RER A to Poissy.

 

Poissy is one of the oldest royal cities of Île-de-France,

The Saint-Louis de Poissy priory is a former monastery founded in the 14th century.

 

Musée de Jouet

 

Today it houses The Musée du Jouet de Poissy. 

It was founded in 1976 by Marie-Madeleine Rabecq-Maillard, curator of the Musée d’Histoire de l’Education.

The original collection was made up of old toys representing different categories of toy.

Out of a total collection of 14,000 objects, the museum presents to the public around 600 games and toys dating from between the 17th century and 2010
