Hôtel d’Avaray – Residence of the Dutch ambassador

The Hôtel d’Avaray is a town house located in the 7th arrondissement.

 

Metro 12, station Rue du Bac

 

Since 1920, it has been the property of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which used it as its embassy from 1920 to 1973. 

Hôtel d’Avaray was built in 1718.

 

The hotel housed the smallest painting in Paris, measuring 2cm x 3cm.
