Crecy la Chapelle

Crécy-la-Chapelle Castle is located in Crécy-la-Chapelle in the department of the Seine-et-Marne in the department of île de France. 

 

 

To take the bus 59is at Marne La Vallée trainstation to Crecy la Chapelle station.

From the trainstation is 15 minutes walking.

 

 

In the 12th century, the lords of La Chapelle, benefactors of the collegiate church begun shortly after 1202, occupied a fortified castle known as Vignoly, located on the site of the seigniorial castle, west of the church, until the French Revolution. 

 

 Between 1848 and 1850, the new Château de La Chapelle was built on a gentle slope, in a less damp location than the old one. 

Since 2003, the Château de Crécy-la-Chapelle has been reserved for  seminars
