If you have binoculars and would like to observe the colony on your own, head for the pebble dike at the Pointe du Hourdel.
They will be present 3 hours before and up to 2.5 hours after low tide.
Ideally, stay close to the blockhouse, on the edge of the channel, and return to land as soon as the sea begins to rise (around 3h30 before high tide).
