Chaumont sur Loire

 

The Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire is located in Loir-et-Cher, on the banks of the Loire.

 

In the 10th century, Eudes I, Count of Blois, had a fortress built to protect the town of Blois against attacks from the Counts of Anjou.

 

 

Every year, the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire welcomes to its International garden festival

 

From Paris Austerlitz is takes 1h45 to the Onzain Chaumont sur Loire station.
