Royal Chapel of Dreux

The Royal Chapel of Dreux, is the traditional burial place of members of the House of Orléans.

 

The chapel is built 1816.

The ambulatory has 37 tombs

 

It belongs to the King Louis Philippe I and his wife and  the antecedents.

The north transept features six holy figures. 

Geneviève de Paris, Denis de Paris, Clotilde (wife of Clovis), Ferdinand III of Castile, Amélie queen of Hungary, Philippe (apostle).

The stained glass windows are the work of the Manufacture de Sèvres.
