Located in the Indre et Loire department n the region Centrz Val de Loire.

 

Accessible by train from Chenonceau station.5-minute walk from the station.

 

Adult price 17€

2hours to visit the castle. 

1 hour and a half for the garden.

The current château was built in 1514–1522 on the foundations of an old mill and was later extended to span the river. 

 

The bridge over the river was built between 1556–1559.

 

 It is the most visited château in France.
