Sanary-sur-Mer

Sanary-sur-Mer  is located in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.

 

From Toulon bus 885  is takes 20 miutes to Sanary sur Mer, the stop is Micheline.

It represents the glory of the Navy.

In 2018, the large weekly market of Sanary was voted the most beautiful market in France.

 

Every Wednesday, all year round from 8 AM to 1 PM.

 

Church Saint-Nazaire-Saint-Celse.

The church’s origins go back to 1570.

The present building was constructed in 1891 

The frescoes are created in 2006 by the artist Jean-Baptiste Garrigou.

The Quoirin organ with exceptional acoustic qualities, comprising more than 24 stops, was installed in 2007.

 

Every phase of Christ’s life is depicted; the frescoes thus form an illustration of the Gospel.
