The abbey of Notre-Dame-des-Ardents-et-Saint-Pierre.

Lagny-sur-Marne is located  in the Seine-et-Marne department in in the region Île-de-France .

 

From Paris Gare de L’Est ligne P to Lagny Sur Marne in 45 minutes.

Joan of Arc came several times to Lagny-sur-Marne in the Abbey. One of the events is the “Miracle” of Lagny, during his second visit to the city.

Wash house.

 

The wash-house dates from 1834. It receives the overflow of the fountain and replaces two small washbasins located near Saint-Fursy.

The 19th century saw the transformation of the remaining buildings into a military hospital. The inscription «Hôpital Militaire» still remains on the front of the main door.

Formerly the monks’ residence, the façade of the town hall dates from the 17th century.
