Courances

The Château de Courances  at Courances in the departement of Essonne in ïle de France.

It is  built in around 1630.

The house and gardens are open to the public.

 

The stairs are simular to the stairs of the castle of Fontainbleau.

There are 3 stairs like this in France ( Courances, Fontainebleau and Bourron Marlotte) and 1 in Scotland.

 

 

The Château de Courances is not directly accessible by public transport.

The closest stations are Boutigny by RER D (14km), and Fontainebleau by Line R (22km).
