Cathedral Saint Pierre of Rennes

Cathedral Saint Pierre de Rennes is dedicated to Saint Peter, is the seat of the Archbishop of Rennes, Dol, and Saint-Malo, previously Bishop of Rennes.

 

The cathedral was constructed in the 12th century,, the current main structure and interior were finished in 1845.

Saint-Amand Chapel.
Amand was bishop of Rennes at the end of the 5th century and died around 505.
Created in 1852, the shrine containing his relics is Romanesque in style.
