Unesco – Guided tour

UNESCO Headquarters, or Maison de l’UNESCO, is a building inaugurated on 3 November 1958 at number 7 Place de Fontenoy in Paris, to serve as the headquarters for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

 

The is mission to contribute to peace building, poverty alleviation, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, science, culture and communication. UNESCO was founded on 16 November 1945.

 

It has 194 member states and 12 associate members. 

 

With public transport; Metro number 6 to Cambronne, it is 8 minutes walking to Unesco

Metro 8 to Ecole Militaire, 10 minutes walking distance to Unesco.
