Cathedral Saint Gatien of Tours

 Tha cathedral was built between 1170 and 1547.

 

 

It is the seat of the Archbishops of Tours  and dedicated to Saint Gatianus.

Altar of Saint Martin in the north transept. This altarpiece dates from 1828, while the statues are from the 17th century.
In the center is Victor Schnetz’s famous painting, “La Charité d’Amiens” (The Charity of Amiens).
