Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is located in the Gard department in the region Occitanie.
From Avignon Poste, in front of the gare SNCF, is 10 to 15 minutes by the bus 5 to Villeneuve les Avignon.
The town was also the resort of the French cardinals during the sojourn of the popes at Avignon, in the 14th century.
